About the Author
When I’m not writing, I’m a pediatrician in central Pennsylvania. I grew up here and returned with my husband to raise our kids where we can ski on a tiny mountain, watch college football in the second biggest stadium in the world, and boat on summer weekends.
As an undergraduate, I ran on the Cross Country and Track teams at Kent State (go Flashes!). I headed to the University of Virginia for medical school and residency. When the military sent my husband to the Gulf Coast of Mississippi, I travelled along to experience a different climate (and the gators visible in our neighborhood pond).
